Christopher Jackson

Mr. Christopher F. Jackson is president of SFG Asset Advisors, a San Francisco single-family office in founded in 2002.  SFG invests globally in a diverse group of managers and strategies including hedge funds, venture, growth equity, debt and special purpose vehicles.  The goal, as a responsible fiduciary for future generations, is to grow the family office with prudent risks while reducing losses during corrections through a diversity of strategies and geographies. 

 Prior to working at a SFGAA, Mr. Jackson was instrumental in helping to build three different hedge fund management firms and raised more than $500 million in traditional and alternative assets, including for Barbary Coast Capital Management (1999-2002), Hoover Capital Management (1998) and Emerging Growth Management (1994-1997). Mr. Jackson graduated from Lehigh University in 1990.

Daphne Dickson

Daphne J. Dickson is COO and director of alternative investments at SFG Asset Advisors. She co-manages the alternative investment strategy, research and allocation. Additionally, Ms. Dickson oversees the legal, compliance, operations and governance of the family office and associated entities. From 1995 to 2006, Ms. Dickson worked in public relations and marketing, which included running the launch of over 40 consumer-facing technology companies and major product introductions. She holds a B.A. in Communications from The University of Virginia, and is a member of 100 Women in Finance (100WF) and PEWIN.

Michael Jackson

Michael F. Jackson is the founder of SFG Asset Advisors. Mr. Jackson has forty years of experience as a portfolio manager, analyst and investor in multiple industries and markets. Prior to SFG, Mr. Jackson was the founder and Chairman of Emerging Growth Management, one of the first and most successful hedge fund management companies on the West Coast. At EGM, Mr. Jackson started the firm’s first hedge fund in 1986 and in subsequent years founded two other hedge funds, a convertible bond fund and a fund of funds. All of the firm’s products had excellent returns and the assets under management grew to over a billion dollars under his leadership. From 1982-1986, Mr. Jackson was a general partner of Hambrecht & Quist Equity Management, a registered investment firm specializing in emerging growth stocks. From 1972-1982, he was the senior portfolio manager at Baker Fentress & Company, a $250 million publicly traded closed-end fund. Mr. Jackson graduated from the University of Virginia and holds an MBA from the University of Southern California.

Hanna Stolarczyk

Hanna Stolarczyk has worked as office manager at SFG Asset Advisors since 2002. Prior to joining the company, Hanna worked for several years at Lucent Technologies as language consultant and project manager. She is actively involved with the nonprofit sector and is a Board member of the Jackson Family Foundation, serving as philanthropic advisor, reviewing projects and recommending charitable causes to the Foundation’s Board of Directors. Hanna was born in Poland, where she received a degree in literature from Nicolas Copernicus University in Torun. She has lived in the Bay Area for over 20 years and holds degrees in linguistics and business administration from San Francisco State University.
